This role is responsible for supporting acquisition efforts across the AAdvantage Business sales team, improving data accuracy, streamlining operations, enabling smarter decision-making and supporting increased acquisition rates of new customers to the AAdvantage Business platform. The position focuses on leveraging data, automation, and AI tools to drive process optimization and innovation across commercial functions.This list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.Leverage third-party data sources (e.g. business directories, industry reports, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to build lists of high-potential corporate prospectsEnrich CRM data with relevant firmographic details (e.g., company size, industry, HQ location) and travel-related attributes to support segmentation and prioritizationImplement data hygiene processes to regularly identify and resolve duplicates, outdated records, and missing fields for prospectsAudit and maintain the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of prospect records in the CRM systemCollaborate with sales and marketing teams to define and enforce data entry standards and best practicesSupport the development of automated workflows and alerts that surface high-potential leads and trigger timely follow-upsPartner with sales leadership to ensure CRM data aligns with evolving go-to-market strategies and account targeting modelsSupport reporting efforts focused on pipeline management and sales team performance as neededALL YOU’LL NEED FOR SUCCESS:Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field3+ years of experience in sales operations, CRM data management, business analytics, or a similar field Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:Master’s degree in data science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline3+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue management, or data-driven marketing rolesPrior experience in the airline, travel, or transportation industrySkills, Licenses, and Certifications:Proficiency in Excel and SQL for data querying, cleansing, and analysisExperience with CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and data enrichment toolsFamiliarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies for process improvementAbility to communicate data-driven insights effectively across technical and business teamsStrong collaboration skills with cross-functional global stakeholdersProven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentExperience with automated workflows, alerts, and CRM integrations is a plusFEEL FREE TO BE YOURSELF AT AMERICAN:Are you ready to feel a tremendous sense of pride and satisfaction as you do your part to keep the largest airline in the world running smoothly as we care for people on life’s journey?
