Job Role: Data Analyst Job Location: Hyderabad (On-site) Role Description: As an Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in helping the organization meet its strategic goals through information processes, data security, and software application management. This role requires advanced data analysis, strong problem-solving skills, and expertise in tools such as MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and SQL. You will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure operational efficiency, extract insights from complex datasets, and support decision-making with actionable analytics. Responsibilities: Data Collection & Interpretation Collect, organize, and interpret data and information from customers (the company’s clients). Understand customer needs and business logic. Translate business logic into structured data models and processes. Excel Models & Automation Build and maintain systematic Excel models to support customer-specified logic. Enable accurate software calculations and workflow integration. Develop and maintain macros to automate repeated validation and analytical tasks. Improve efficiency and consistency through automation. Collaboration & Data Structuring Collaborate with internal teams and customers to define data requirements. Translate requirements into effective data structures and processes. Ensure alignment between customer expectations and technical outputs. Data Analysis & Reporting Work with large, complex datasets using Power BI. Design interactive reports, dashboards, and analytics tailored to customer needs. Apply data visualization and summarization techniques to support decision-making. Data Accuracy & Security Ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of collected and processed data. Monitor data quality throughout all project phases. Implement controls to safeguard data consistency and confidentiality. Communication & Insights Communicate findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams. Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations. Support stakeholders in data-driven decision making. Requirements: Education Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Data Science, ISM, Operations Research, Business Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Professional Experience Minimum 4 years of experience as an MIS/Data Analyst or in a similar role. Proven expertise in MS Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau. Knowledge & Technical Skills Practical experience in business analytics or business intelligence. Strong understanding of clustering, factor analysis, logistic regression, data/text mining, and decision trees. Ability to manipulate and extract insights from large and complex datasets. Comfortable with financial analysis and advanced Microsoft tools. Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills Highly curious with strong analytical abilities to assess processes and develop creative solutions. Communication & Collaboration Excellent communication skills to clarify requirements, report gaps, and train staff on new/revised systems. Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work across teams and deliver within deadlines.
