Job Overview:We are seeking a passionate and experienced IB DP Chemistry Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction aligned with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The candidate should be committed to fostering inquiry-based learning and supporting students in achieving academic excellence.Key Responsibilities:Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons in line with IB DP curriculum guidelinesTeach both SL (Standard Level) and HL (Higher Level) ChemistryDesign and implement assessments, including Internal Assessments (IA) and mock examsGuide students in laboratory work, ensuring safety and proper scientific practicesSupport students with Extended Essays (EE) in Chemistry, where applicableMaintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely feedbackIntegrate ATL (Approaches to Learning) skills into teaching practicesParticipate in curriculum planning, moderation, and IB-related documentationCollaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learningEngage in professional development and stay updated with IB standardsQualifications & Requirements:Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related fieldIB DP teaching experience preferred (minimum 2–3 years)Strong understanding of IB assessment criteria and pedagogyExcellent communication and classroom management skillsExperience in conducting practical/laboratory sessionsIB training/certification is an added advantage
