Junior R&D Chemist (Organic Chemistry)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior R&D Chemist to support organic synthesis and product development activities in a dynamic laboratory environment. The role involves assisting in lab-scale reactions, purification processes, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with GMP and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in organic chemistry, hands-on laboratory experience, and a keen interest in process development and scale-up. Exposure to cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or fine chemical research will be an added advantage.Job Responsibilities:Assist in organic synthesis of cosmetic ingredients.Support R&D experiments, lab-scale reactions, and optimizationPerform raw material handling, weighing, and reaction monitoringMaintain lab records, batch sheets, and SOP documentationAssist in purification techniques (filtration, extraction, drying, crystallization)Basic handling of analytical tools (TLC, pH, melting point, UV if required)Follow lab safety, GMP, and cleanliness standardsRequired Skills:M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry Minimum 3 years experience in any RND labStrong fundamentals in organic chemistryBasic laboratory skills and chemical handlingWillingness to learn process development and scale-upGood observation and documentation skillsDiscipline and safety awarenessExperience in pharma / fine chemical R&D is a plusExposure to peptides, actives, or specialty chemicals is a plus
