Manager-Plumbing & Firefighting Design

Role & responsibilitiesYou will prepare and develop MEP designs for electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, HVAC, and ELV systems in line with project requirements.You will perform design calculations, system sizing, layouts, and detailed drawings for MEP services.You will coordinate with architectural, structural, and planning teams to integrate MEP systems within building designs.You will consider site conditions, construction methodology, and sequencing while developing MEP layouts and details.You will resolve MEP design and coordination challenges through design optimisation and practical routing solutions.You will support site teams by providing design clarifications, revisions, and technical inputs during critical execution stages.You will guide junior engineers and designers in preparing calculations, drawings, and design documentation.You will ensure all MEP designs comply with applicable codes, safety standards, and approved project specifications.You will prepare, review, and close GFC drawings, shop drawings, and final MEP design documentation.Preferred candidate profileStrong proficiency in high rise residential MEP drawings, layouts, and system coordination with an experience of 10-15 years.Sound knowledge of applicable MEP codes, safety standards, and construction practicesAbility to coordinate effectively with consultants and site teamsHigh attention to detail with clear communication and strong problem-solving skills
