We are hiring: UC4 / Automic AdministratorLocation: Hyderabad, India (Hybrid)Experience: 3 to 5+ YearsCompany: IntVerse Inc.Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleIntVerse is hiring a UC4 / Automic Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize an enterprise job scheduling and workload automation environment. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability of the Automic engine, streamline complex workflow automation, and bring technical expertise to scaling automation capabilities across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.If you have lived inside Automation Engine logs, calmed down a misbehaving agent at midnight, and know what a clean Transport Case looks like, this role is for you.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem AdministrationInstall, configure, and upgrade Automic Workload Automation components including Automation Engine, Utility, and Agents. Manage the Service Manager and Automic Web Interface across environments.Workflow DesignCreate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex Job Plans, Workflows, Calendars, and Schedule objects. Translate operational requirements into reliable, reusable automation patterns.System HealthMonitor system performance, manage database growth through ILM, and perform regular health checks and patching. Tune the engine for stability and throughput.Security & GovernanceManage User Objects, User Groups, and Folder permissions using the Automic Security concept. Maintain segregation of duties and audit-ready access controls.TroubleshootingProvide Tier 3 support for production job failures, agent connectivity issues, and engine performance bottlenecks. Drive root cause analysis using WP and CP logs.Scripting & IntegrationUse Automic Scripting Language to enhance job logic and integrate with external APIs and cloud services. Build and support RA agents for SAP, FTP, SQL, and REST integrations.What We Are Looking ForThree to five or more years of dedicated UC4 / Automic administration experience. Hands-on with Automic Workload Automation v12.x or v21.x, including AE Engine, Service Manager, and Automic Web Interface. Proficiency in Automic Scripting Language alongside PowerShell or Bash. Working SQL knowledge for querying Automic system tables on Oracle or SQL Server. Solid Linux, Unix, and Windows Server administration fundamentals. Experience with RA agents covering SAP, FTP, SQL, and REST. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, and how networking impacts Agent-to-Engine communication. Familiarity with Transport Case management and promoting objects across Client environments from Dev to Prod. Comfort analyzing WP and CP logs to isolate system-level issues.Nice to HaveExperience with the Automic REST API for external triggers. Knowledge of version control integration with Git for Automic objects. Experience configuring or supporting high-availability clusters.Success Metrics for the Role99.9% uptime of the Automation Engine. Measurable reduction in manual intervention through self-service automation.
