Position Title: Assistant Manager – Finance & AccountsLocation: HyderabadReports To: Cluster Financial ControllerCompany: The QuorumPosition OverviewThe Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts supports the unit finance function by ensuring accurate accounting, statutory compliance, timely reporting, and smooth day-to-day financial operations. This role works closely with the Unit Financial Controller and cross-functional teams to maintain financial discipline, support audits, and enable informed decision-making at the unit level.The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on execution capability, and the ability to coordinate across departments in a hospitality-led environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial OperationsOversee accounts payable processes, including expense and inventory journal vouchers, reconciliations, vendor coordination, and timely payments.Review and monitor general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Prepare and review bank reconciliation statements on a regular basis.Develop and maintain cash flow and fund flow statements for the unit.Statutory Compliance & Audit SupportHandle unit-level compliance related to GST, TDS, and VAT, including filings, reconciliations, and documentation.Support statutory audits and assist in the finalisation of accounts.Ensure readiness of records and schedules required for audits and regulatory reviews.Coordination & Ad-hoc SupportWork closely with internal stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries and ensure timely closures.Support the Unit Financial Controller on finance-related tasks and projects as required.Success MetricsTimely and accurate accounting closures and reconciliations.Compliance with statutory timelines and audit requirements.Accurate MIS reporting and financial documentation.Smooth coordination with internal teams and vendors.Qualifications & ExperienceGraduate or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Prior experience in hospitality, services, or multi-unit operations preferred.Skills & CompetenciesStrong accounting and compliance fundamentals.Attention to detail and process discipline.Clear communication and coordination skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
