Manage all aspects of tax compliance, accounting operations, and financial reporting This function is performed within the overall policies, procedures and systems established by SNL as well as within compliance with all local statutory requirements and IGAAP. The role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of Indian tax laws, accounting principles, and the ability to lead a team while ensuring timely and accurate financial operations. What You’ll DoFinancial Transaction Processing:Review and advise on the correct coding of invoices and creation of journal entries for local accounting managers, GSSC and Accountants. Direct & Indirect Tax Compliance: Ensure timely filing and compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), Advance Tax, and Income Tax Returns (ITR) Tax Audits: Lead and coordinate statutory audits, tax audits, and GST audits, ensuring all documentation and filings are accurate and timely. Transfer Pricing & International Tax: Advise on transfer pricing policies and international tax matters, including compliance with relevant regulations. Management reporting: Prepare all financial statements, both internal and external, as per the SNL requirements to fully reflect the results of the business. This includes the following statements: Monthly internal p&l’s Monthly cash flow reports Quarterly updated estimates Quarterly actual reporting (yardstick, capex, NAB) Annual budgets 5-year plan updates Quarterly external trial balances Prepare all consolidations of monthly, quarterly and annual reports for review by Divisional ControllerResponsible for ensuring that the individual general ledger trial balances for SN Dice accurately reflect the periodic activities of the division and that the quarterly balance sheet accurately reflects the current financial position of the division at the end of the fiscal period. Implement the business specific procedures as set by the business controller. Assist the Divisional Controller, Divisional GM’s and MD in analysis of budgets, actuals, and updated estimates. Develop standard reports and models and assist in automation where possible Statutory, Legal and Tax reporting: For external reporting ensure all statutory, legal, and tax filings are prepared accurately and in line with local regulatory and audit requirementsExternal/Internal Audit: Coordinate timely preparation and Consolidation of audit schedules as required for Stolt internal and external audit. Work with the business controller and external auditors to ensure timely and efficient completion of the financial audit. Internal control framework: Perform the described processes and controls relating to the reporting process and role Facilitate timely and efficient completion of the audit there off. Identify any possibility to streamline, increase efficiency and propose amendments as required. Business Systems: Oracle administrator: Account and report as per business requirement.Assist and implement mapping for all Stolt business units and accounts; Advise on business requirement in BT projects and assist in the implementation of changes.What You’ll Bring:Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent is highly preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in tax management and accounting, preferably in a corporate accounting environment Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, GST, TDS, and income tax provisions. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle eBS, Oracle Cloud) and Microsoft Excel are essential. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail Specific Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to meet deadlines, promote cost savings and make recommendations for system and process improvements.Team Player, willing to develop and guide others.
