Job Title: Financial Controller Location: IDA- Bollaram, Hyderabad Department: Finance Education: Charted Accountant (CA) mandatory Industry: Manufacturing Reports To: VP Finance / CFO Experience Required: 10+ years in finance, accounting, and operational risk management, with ERP implementation experience and exposure to loss prevention strategies. Note: Manufacturing Industry experience is mandatory. Role Overview The Financial Controller & Head of Loss Prevention is a dual-function leadership role responsible for ensuring the financial and operational integrity of the company. The role combines the traditional responsibilities of financial stewardship with proactive risk management, loss prevention, and fraud control. This position will lead all core accounting functions, internal control systems, ERP financial modules, and also oversee security, audit, and operational processes designed to minimize financial and inventory-related losses across the organization. Key Skills & Competencies * Deep knowledge of Indian GAAP, Companies Act, GST, TDS * Strong grasp of operational risk, fraud detection, and investigative protocols * ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, or custom ERP) * Familiarity with security systems (CCTV, access control, incident tracking tools) * Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills * Ability to operate cross-functionally with IT, operations, security, and supply chain Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Compliance * Supervise all accounting functions (GL, AR, AP, costing, payroll, inventory, fixed assets) * Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing * Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements (GST, TDS, Companies Act, etc.) * Coordinate with auditors for internal, statutory, and tax audits
