Backed by top Silicon Valley investors, Aviso combines data science and predictive insights to help enterprises optimize performance, exceed revenue goals, and solve complex sales challenges.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Pulumi and AWS CDK to manage AWS resources (ECS, EC2, VPC/networking, Lambda, RDS/Postgres, MongoDB self-managed).Build Python-based tooling and automation for provisioning, deployments, maintenance tasks, and operational workflows (backups, migrations, housekeeping).Own CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions: build, test, security checks, environment promotions, and Pulumi/CDK deployments.Operate and harden Linux-based systems (container hosts and EC2), including OS-level tuning, logging, and monitoring integration.Collaborate with developers to design scalable services on ECS (Fargate/EC2), EC2, and Lambda, ensuring secure networking (VPC, subnets, security groups, load balancers).Administer Postgres and MongoDB from an SRE/platform perspective: provisioning, configuration, basic performance tuning, backups, and high-availability patterns.Contribute to observability (metrics, logs, alerts) and participate in incident response and postmortems.Requirements:3–5 years in Platform / DevOps / SRE or backend engineering with strong exposure to infrastructure.Solid Python skills for automation, scripting, and small services.Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS, EC2, Lambda, networking fundamentals like VPC, subnets, security groups, ALB/NLB).Experience with IaC: Pulumi (Python) and AWS CDK in production.Strong Linux fundamentals (systemd, networking, shell) and comfort debugging in production environments.Practical experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD.Working knowledge of Postgres and MongoDB operations in cloud environments.Familiarity with best practices around security, secrets management, and least-privilege IAM is a plus.
