Role OverviewValorant Consulting is seeking a Finance Associate to support the firm’s leadership in managing financial operations, reporting, and analysis. This is a hands-on role that combines finance administration, basic accounting, and analytical reporting. The candidate will maintain accurate books, prepare regular forecasts and dashboards, and serve as the primary interface with Valorant’s external accountant and finance vendors.Key Responsibilities1. Management Reporting & AnalyticsPrepare monthly and quarterly management reports covering P&L, margins, revenue forecasts, utilization, and cash-flow summaries.Maintain financial models to project profitability, investments, and budget scenarios.Track project-level performance and support leadership in cost optimization and pricing analyses.Consolidate and visualize data into concise dashboards and executive summaries.2. Accounting & Bookkeeping CoordinationMaintain updated ledgers, expense tracking, and payment records.Support reconciliation of accounts and ensure books align with bank statements.Coordinate with Valorant’s accountant for monthly closings, TDS/GST filings, and annual returns.Manage payroll coordination and ensure statutory compliance.3. Billing, Invoicing & CollectionsPrepare client invoices accurately and on schedule; maintain invoice tracker and documentation.Monitor accounts receivable, follow up with clients for payments, and update leadership on collection status.Support vendor invoice processing and expense reimbursements.4. Financial Planning & GovernanceSupport quarterly and annual financial summaries for internal and board reporting.Track investments and operational spends against approved budgets.Assist in policy documentation for financial processes, payment approvals, and audit readiness.Recommend automation or tool improvements to enhance visibility and efficiency.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or Economics.3–5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role (preferably in consulting, professional services, or startup environments).Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills; familiarity with QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or Tally preferred.Solid understanding of accounting principles, forecasting, and financial reconciliations.Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.Preferred ProfileAnalytical mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach.Comfortable managing multiple workstreams with limited supervision.Strong communication skills for collaboration across accounting partners, vendors, and leadership.Discretion and reliability in handling confidential information.
