This on-site role, based in Faridabad, involves managing design projects, leading a team of designers, and collaborating with clients to understand their requirements and deliver creative solutions. The Design Manager will develop seasonal collections, ensure alignment with market trends, and maintain brand identity. The role also requires close coordination with internal teams like production and merchandising to ensure seamless design execution.JDResponsible for designing and developing collections for Women’s Wear and KidswearStrong understanding of UK & European fashion trends, consumer preferences, and seasonal directionExperience in handling buyer accounts such as Primark, H&M, C&A, Marks & Spencer (M&S), Tesco, and Zara Ability to create concepts, mood boards, and range plans as per buyer requirements Work closely with merchandising and production teams for product developmentEnsure timely delivery of designs in line with buyer expectationsGood knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction Strong communication and presentation skillsQualificationsProven expertise in design development and creating seasonal collectionsStrong understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and the UK/European apparel marketTeam leadership experience and the ability to inspire and mentor a creative teamExcellent communication and client management skills to effectively interact with international clientsProficiency in design software and tools such as Adobe Photoshop and IllustratorKnowledge of garment manufacturing processes and textile designAbility to work on-site at the Faridabad locationBachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related fieldExperience in sustainable fashion design or working with eco-friendly materials is a plus
