Software Test Lead

About the Role:The Quality Assurance Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the QA team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This role involves defining testing strategies, managing QA processes, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain product standards and customer satisfaction.- Experience in understanding business requirements and design. - Ability to take initiative to communicate, interact, and collaborate with other to ensure that all aspects of a task are addressed. - Keep track of schedule for on time delivery of assigned task as per the defined quality standards – Optimize pace and meet deadlinesResponsibilities:- Leadership & Team Management - Lead and mentor the QA team, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. - Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and provide performance feedback. - Quality Assurance Strategy - Develop and implement QA processes, methodologies, and tools. - Define test plans, test cases, and automation strategies. - Testing & Validation - Oversee functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. - Ensure timely identification, documentation, and resolution of defects. - Collaboration - Work closely with development, product management, and operations teams. - Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA input during design phases. - Reporting & Documentation - Prepare QA metrics and reports for stakeholders. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of QA processes and test results.Required Skills & Qualifications- BCA, B. Tech / MCA and Graduate in Computer Science - 10+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Junit). - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Personal Attributes:- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. - High ethical standards and professionalism. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
