Senior Tooling Engineer

Hiring: Senior Tool Room Engineer cum Designer – Plastic Injection MouldsWe are seeking a highly experienced Tool Room Engineer cum Designer with deep expertise in designing and developing complex plastic injection moulds, specifically gear moulds, rotary core moulds, and flip-top cap moulds.This position is meant for professionals who have spent years inside reputed mould manufacturing companies and can independently lead challenging tool development programs.Key Responsibilities- Complete mould design ownership from product study to final tool qualification. - Develop precise 3D models, 2D detailing, tolerance stack-ups, and BOM. - Engineer complex mechanisms including rotary/unscrewing systems, gear forms, cam actions, and multi-part assemblies. - Drive DFM, cooling strategy, gating concepts, and cycle time optimization. - Work closely with tool room manufacturing, assembly, and trials. - Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and engineering corrections. - Mentor junior designers and set best practices.Mandatory Requirement (Non-negotiable)- Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in plastic injection mould design. - Must have worked with a reputed mould making company. - Proven track record of delivering gear moulds / rotary core moulds / flip-top cap moulds.Skills- Strong expertise in UG/NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD platforms. - Thorough knowledge of plastics, mechanisms, and mould performance. - Ability to independently manage timelines and deliverables.Location- Sonipat, HaryanaCompensation- Best in industry, aligned with experience and capability.Interested professionals may share their CV at: info@
