We are looking for someone who lives on the internet, not just reports on it.This role is for a person who: Spots trends before they become mainstreamUnderstands Instagram, Reddit, Discord, YouTube and Snapchat as cultures, not just platformsHas opinions, curiosity, and a sharp, creative lensCan turn internet moments into stories, formats, and conversationsCurrently work primarily in social media (meme pages, content creators, community managers, social editors, short-form video creators) and now want to graduate into multi-format storytelling across articles, video scripts, opinion pieces, and platform-native content.Note: This is not a traditional news reporting job. This is about decoding youth culture and creating content people actually want to consume and share.What you will do:Track and identify emerging trends across social media platforms on different beats, including fashion, pop culture, memes, influencers, relationships, anime, gaming, internet debates and youth lifestyle.Create content across formats that include website articles, social posts, script for short-form videos, opinion pieces.Translate internet trends into relatable stories for Gen ZBring a point of view, not just informationParticipate in idea discussions and brainstormsWork closely with social media team and video teamWhat we are looking for:Someone who spends a lot of time on social media for personal consumptionKnows what's trending, what's cringe, what's dying, and what's nextHas opinions but is open to discussionIs comfortable creating content in text, visual formats, short videos, social-fist storytellingIs a Gen Z and understands Gen Z language and tone (without trying too hard)Is curious about trends, fashion, relationships, mental health, internet culture and influencersEnjoys conversations and debates more than just writing silentlySkills Required:1-3 years of experience in digital media and content creation in youth culture or lifestyle platformAcademic background specializing in English or Psychology- someone opinionated and has the skill to present them in a form that is relevant and relatable./"Moreover, we want to look for colleges like DU or Amity for MA graduates in English/Psychology for this consultant role.
