Job Description – Clearance & Settlement / Trade Operations (Middle Office)Employment Type: Full-time Location: Gurugram (On-site) Experience: 6 months – 3 years Preference: Immediate JoinersRole Overview:The role involves supporting end-to-end clearing & settlement and trade operations activities, ensuring accurate settlement of trades, timely reconciliation, and compliance with regulatory and NISM guidelines. The position works closely with brokers, custodians, exchanges, and internal stakeholders.Relevant Experience (Shortlisting Criteria):Minimum 6 months of experience in Clearing & Settlement, Trade Operations, or Middle Office roles.Hands-on exposure to equity settlement cycles (T+1 / T+2).Experience working with brokers, custodians, clearing corporations, or exchanges.Knowledge of trade reconciliations, settlement breaks, and exception handling.Exposure to NSE / BSE settlement processes is preferred.Key Skills Required:Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle.Knowledge of clearing & settlement processes.Reconciliation and break resolution skills.Proficiency in Excel and MIS reporting.Understanding of regulatory requirements and NISM guidelines.High attention to detail and process discipline.Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills.Role Responsibilities:Execute and monitor equity, ETF, and crypto trades as per mandates.Coordinate with exchanges, brokers, custodians, and internal teams for smooth trade settlement.Reconcile trades, positions, and funds, identifying and resolving discrepancies.Monitor settlement cycles (T+1 / T+2) and manage exceptions or failed trades.Ensure compliance with regulatory norms and NISM guidelines.Maintain accurate, audit-ready records, MIS, and reports for compliance and internal review.
