Already trusted by leading clinics and providers in Sweden, we are now expanding across the Nordics.Role OverviewThe iOS Engineer will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality native iOS applications for Clinvvo’s innovative health-tech platform. The role involves building scalable, secure, and performant mobile experiences, collaborating closely with backend, product, and clinical stakeholders, and solving complex technical problems to improve the experience for healthcare providers and patients.Work Location: Gurgaon (hybrid: 4 days in-office, 2 days remote)ResponsibilitiesLead the in-house development and maintenance of native iOS applications (patient-facing and clinician-facing)Translate product and stakeholder requirements (often loosely defined) into clean, maintainable, and testable Swift codeOwn the iOS app architecture, performance, stability, and release qualityCollaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver features aligned with the roadmap and timelinesIntegrate iOS apps with backend APIs, real-time services, and third-party SDKsContinuously improve app performance, reliability, and user experienceEnsure adherence to Apple App Store guidelines, security best practices, and healthcare compliance requirementsBe economically aware and manage development time and resources responsiblyExperience6-8 years of native iOS development experience, with at least three production-grade apps shipped and maintained on the App StoreStrong proficiency in Swift and modern iOS frameworks (UIKit and/or SwiftUI)Solid understanding of iOS app architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.)Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous workflows, background tasks, and offline statesHands-on experience with iOS app performance optimization, memory management, and debuggingFamiliarity with Apple ecosystem tools: Xcode, Instruments, TestFlight, App Store ConnectExperience working with CI/CD for iOS builds and releases is a plusUnderstanding of security, privacy, and data handling best practices (especially in regulated domains)Experience working in health-tech or other regulated industries is a strong plusExposure to AI-powered features in mobile apps (e.g., AI-driven summaries, voice, or smart workflows) is a bonus
