This is a non-clinical, administrative role that plays a critical part in the patient experience through running eligibility and benefits checks for families and individuals.You’ll work closely with internal teams and providers in a fully remote, async-first environment, where clear documentation, proactive communication, and ownership are essential.This role is ideal for someone with early experience in healthcare administration who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.Responsibilities:Verifying patient eligibility and benefits accurately and timelyManaging prior authorization requests and follow-upsRespond to patient inquiries via email and live calls.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.Identifying ways to streamline the process and expedite insurance verificationEnsure all communications and documentation comply with HIPAA and healthcare privacy standardsMaintain organized internal documentation and notesQualifications:1–2 years of experience in a healthcare administrative or patient servicesStrong written and verbal English communication skillsSolid understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentialityAbility to work independently in a remote, async-first environmentExposure to behavioral health or mental health settings strongly preferredHands-on experience with:Prior authorization and insurance processes.US Insurance CompaniesInsurance PortalsElectronic Health Record (EHR) systemsCompensation:600-800 USD per month
