The role encompasses delivering educational content, conducting pertinent research, and providing service to the department.Key Responsibilities:Teaching:Instruct in the areas of Physiotherapy at various academic levels.Create and maintain course materials and curricula.Evaluate students’ assignments and performance.Research:Perform research in Physiotherapy, targeting publication in acclaimed journals.Seek external funding to facilitate research activities.Essential 10 publicationsMentorship:Provide academic and career mentorship to students.Oversee student projects and research efforts.Service:Engage in departmental and university service, including committee participation.Community and Industry Engagement.Partner with industry and community stakeholders to foster collaborative initiatives.Experience:10 years total experience including 5 years experience as Associate Professor PhysiotherapyMinimum Qualifications:Ph.D. In any discipline in Physiotherapy recognised by U.G.C.Masters in Physiotherapy (M.P.T./ M.P.Th/M.Th.P/ MSc. PT)Demonstrable ability or potential for research and teaching excellence.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications:A track record of publications in academic journals.Experience in securing research funding.Relevant industry experience in Physiotherapy.
