This role involves analyzing marketplace performance, refining pricing and inventory strategies, improving product visibility, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive online sales growth and enhance customer experience.Key ResponsibilitiesBuy Box & Marketplace PerformanceMonitor and analyses marketplace metrics, including Buy Box percentage, pricing competitiveness, product visibility, conversion rates, and sales performance. Implement strategic actions to improve Buy Box ownership through competitive pricing, strong seller metrics, fulfilment reliability and stock availability. Track and address lost Buy Box situations, suppressed listings, pricing conflicts, and demand fluctuations. Inventory & Operations CoordinationWork closely with supply chain, warehouse or operations teams to ensure strong inventory health, availability and stock replenishment to maintain high Buy Box eligibility and prevent out-of-stock situations. Support inventory planning, forecasting and fulfilment strategies to align with marketplace requirements and seasonal demands. Listing & Content OptimizationEnsure product listings on marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart or others are accurate, fully optimized and compliant with platform standards, including titles, bullet points, images, and A+ content. Collaborate with marketing and content teams to enhance SEO, product detail quality and conversion metrics. Cross-Functional CollaborationCoordinate with advertising, pricing, customer service and logistics teams to align Buy Box strategies with broader business goals. Communicate performance insights, trends and optimization opportunities to stakeholders and leadership teams. Reporting & AnalysisGenerate regular performance reports showing Buy Box share, pricing movement, inventory status, listing quality, and competitor trends. Use data and competitive insights to recommend improvements, prioritize actions, and support decision-making. Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, E-commerce, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).Experience: Prior experience in e-commerce operations, marketplace management, Buy Box optimization, or Amazon Seller Central is highly desirable. Technical SkillsFamiliarity with marketplace platforms (especially Amazon), inventory tools, pricing dashboards and marketplace analytics.Analytical AbilityStrong data analysis skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret performance metrics.CommunicationExcellent verbal and written communication for internal coordination and stakeholder engagement.Preferred AttributesA proactive mindset with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced and competitive e-commerce environmentKnowledge of marketplace compliance standards and promotional campaign planningExperience using Amazon Seller Central, marketplace automation or research toolsWork EnvironmentThis role may be based in an office, remote environment or hybrid setting depending on organizational needsCollaboration across departments and occasional extended hours may be required to support promotional events and sales periods
