(0-30 days)Mandatory Skills:Candidates should have a Bachelors or master’s in science or engineering disciplines (Computer Science, Engineering, Math's, Physics, etc.) or a related field.7 to 12 years of project management experience in technology transformation (with at least 4 years in BFSI).Proven track record managing low-latency applications and data modernization projects (preferably involving .NET, SQL Server, cloud migration, and reporting platforms) and migrating them to containerized .NET or Python-based applications, with knowledge of modern stacks like React and Python.Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and tools (MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).Trading Application Expertise: Strong experience with trading-related applications, preferably FX derivatives, and a preference for candidates with engineering management background over purely people-focused project managers.DevOps and Cloud Readiness: Candidates should be familiar with the DevOps cycle, application architecture, and processes for monetization in on-prem environments, as well as making applications cloud-ready.Experience with regulatory/compliance-driven environments (e.g., BCBS239, DORA); PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred. Excellent stakeholder management, communication (both written and verbal) and negotiation skills.Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end delivery of legacy application modernization projects for BFSI clients, ensuring timely execution, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and achievement of business outcomes.Develop and maintain the overall project plan, timeline, and RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) log.Coordinate mobilization, discovery, deep-dive analysis, and roadmap phases across workstreams.Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and governance meetings (Steering Committee, Working Groups, Stand-ups).Manage access to environments, documentation, and SMEs; escalate and resolve blockers. Track progress against milestones, deliverables, and success metrics; ensure quality and completeness of all project artifacts.Oversee risk management, compliance, and change control processes.Ensure effective communication and alignment between client sponsors, technical teams, and business stakeholders.Prepare and deliver executive readouts, status reports, and handover documentation.Support the adoption of agile and DevOps practices, ensuring integration with CI/CD and test automation initiatives.Please mail your updated CV at nihal.upadhyay@
