Role OverviewThe Associate Director – Brand Partnerships will play a key role in driving the company’s revenue growth by acquiring new brand partnerships and expanding existing client relationships. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong sales acumen, deep understanding of the influencer marketing ecosystem, and the ability to translate brand objectives into impactful influencer campaigns.This role will work closely with Planning & Strategy, Pricing, and Campaign Management teams to deliver high-quality influencer marketing solutions for clients.Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Generation & Business DevelopmentIdentify, approach, and onboard new brand partners across industries such as FMCG, D2C, fashion, beauty, fintech, lifestyle, and technology.Drive end-to-end sales cycles including prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and deal closure.Build a strong sales pipeline and consistently achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.Develop customized influencer marketing solutions tailored to brand objectives and campaign goals.Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with brand marketing teams, decision-makers, and key stakeholders.Act as the primary point of contact for brand partners during pre-sales discussions.Understand client marketing objectives and propose innovative influencer-led campaigns.Focus on long-term client retention and account growth.Strategic Campaign PlanningCollaborate with the Planning & Strategy team to develop impactful influencer marketing proposals and campaign strategies.Ensure the recommended influencer mix aligns with brand positioning and campaign objectives.Work with internal teams to design integrated influencer campaigns that drive measurable results.Cross-Functional CollaborationCoordinate with the Pricing team to ensure influencer costs align with client budgets and campaign requirements.Work closely with the Campaign Management team to ensure smooth campaign execution once deals are closed.Provide clear campaign briefs and expectations to internal teams for effective delivery.Market Intelligence & Industry InsightsStay updated with industry trends, influencer marketing innovations, and brand campaign strategies.Identify emerging opportunities within the creator economy and digital marketing landscape.Provide insights to clients on influencer trends, platform performance, and audience engagement patterns.Pipeline & Performance ManagementMaintain a structured sales pipeline and track opportunities through CRM or internal systems.Monitor revenue performance and take proactive steps to achieve targets.Prepare regular sales forecasts, client updates, and revenue reports for leadership.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.5–8 years of experience in sales, brand partnerships, or business development within influencer marketing, digital marketing, media, or advertising agencies.Strong understanding of influencer marketing, social media platforms, and digital campaigns.Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Strong ability to build relationships with senior marketing stakeholders.Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving abilities.
