Information Technology Procurement Manager

Position: Assistant Manager & Manager Procurement (IT):- 2 positions Location: GurgaonEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.6+ years of procurement experience, with significant exposure to IT (hardware, software, services) and Telecom categories.Proven experience in contract negotiations, vendor management, and category strategy developmentJob Summary:Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, contracting, and vendor management for the IT, telecom categories. The role will be responsible for driving cost efficiencies, ensuring service quality, managing risk, and supporting business growth through strategic procurement practices.Key Responsibilities:Own and manage the IT and Telecom procurement categories, including but not limited to:IT hardwareSoftwareTelecomIT servicesMobility servicesDevelop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives and budget targets.Sourcing and contractingLead end-to-end sourcing activities: RFQ/RFP, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and contract finalization.Negotiate commercially robust contracts with favorable pricing, service levels, and risk mitigation clauses.Ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and governance standards.Supplier and stakeholder managementBuild and manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure service continuity and performance excellence.Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and SLAs, addressing gaps and driving continuous improvement.Act as a trusted procurement partner to internal stakeholders.Cost Optimization and risk managementIdentify and deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and value creation initiatives.Monitor market trends, benchmarking, and cost drivers in IT and Telecom services.Proactively identify and mitigate commercial, operational, and compliance risks.Process and GovernanceEnsure adherence to procurement policies, approval matrices, and audit requirements.Improve procurement processes, documentation, and reporting for the assigned categories.Support digital procurement tools and data-driven decision-making.ESGSupport implementation of firmwide Net Zero activities, especially getting the suppliers have science based targets to reduce Carbon emissions.Support in meeting the D&I targets by getting Diverse suppliers onboarded.
