Food Technologist

Wellversed is looking for a Research and Development Associate with 1-4 Years of experience with research and development of new products and creating food/nutraceutical/pharmaceutical product compositions.Responsibilities:1. Product Formulation & New Product Development- Develop and optimize nutraceutical and pharmaceutical formulations across formats such as powders, tablets, capsules, liquids, sachets, and granules by converting product briefs, regulatory constraints, and market requirements into executable formulations, while conducting excipient compatibility studies, taste masking, solubility, and stability optimization.2. Ingredient, Molecule & Delivery System ResearchEvaluate APIs, bioactives, nutraceutical ingredients, and functional compounds for efficacy, safety, and feasibility.3. Scale-Up, Technology Transfer & Manufacturing SupportLead formulation transfer from lab-scale to pilot and commercial scale.4. Documentation, Compliance & Cross-Functional CollaborationMaintain comprehensive R&D documentation, formulation development reports, and change control records; support regulatory and compliance requirements including FSSAI, GMP, and pharmaceutical guidelines; assist during audits and product lifecycle management; and collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, QA/QC, Procurement, and Compliance teams to ensure process feasibility, quality, and timely execution. Requirements:1-4 years of Full-Time Experience in Food Processing, R&D, NPDProficiency in MS Office, especially Excel/Google Sheets.Relevant degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutics, Food Technology, Pharmacology.Deep knowledge of research methodologies and the ability to obtain focused results.Learnability, flexibility, and adaptability to quickly grasp new concepts and adapt to changing project requirements.About WellversedWellversed owns and operates a portfolio of nutrition brands to empower people to attain their most optimal state of wellness.
