The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Indian accounting standards, statutory compliance, and financial controls, with hands-on experience in a manufacturing or metals-related industry being a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities:Accounting & Financial ReportingOversee end-to-end accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, inventory accounting, and fixed assetsPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and statutory requirementsEnsure accurate cost accounting, stock valuation, and margin analysisLead month-end and year-end closing processesTaxation & ComplianceManage direct and indirect taxation including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Transfer Pricing (if applicable)Ensure timely filing of GST returns, income tax returns, TDS returns, and statutory filingsHandle tax assessments, audits, notices, and liaise with tax authoritiesStay updated with changes in tax laws and ensure company-wide complianceAudits & ControlsLead statutory, tax, internal, and cost auditsAct as the primary point of contact for auditors, consultants, and regulatorsEstablish and strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and risk mitigation frameworksEnsure compliance with Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable lawsFinancial Planning & AnalysisSupport budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisProvide financial insights to management for decision-makingMonitor cash flows, working capital, and fund utilizationAssist in pricing, cost optimization, and profitability improvement initiativesTeam & Stakeholder ManagementMentor and supervise the accounting and finance teamCoordinate with operations, procurement, sales, and logistics teamsWork closely with banks, financial institutions, and external advisors Key Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of Ind AS, GST, Income Tax, TDS, and statutory complianceExperience in manufacturing / metals / industrial sector preferredProficiency in ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar)Advanced Excel and financial analysis skillsHigh attention to detail, integrity, and problem-solving abilityStrong communication and leadership skills Preferred Experience:Experience in a manufacturing or metals companyExposure to cost audits, inventory-heavy environments, and plant accountingExperience handling multiple entities or group companies What We Offer:Competitive compensation aligned with experienceOpportunity to work in a growing industrial organizationLeadership role with direct impact on financial strategyProfessional and collaborative work environment
