The Assistant Merchandiser will be involved in coordinating product development, managing inventory, tracking production timelines, liaising with vendors and suppliers, and supporting the merchandising team in ensuring on-time delivery of products. The role also includes preparing reports, analyzing market trends, and assisting in strategic planning to maximize sales and efficiency, also includes looking into sales with the sales and communications team.QualificationsStrong organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyCommunication and interpersonal skills for effectively collaborating with vendors, suppliers, and cross-functional teamsBasic knowledge of inventory management, production tracking, and merchandising principlesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with any inventory or ERP systems is a plusAn understanding of or interest in the fashion industry and current trendsBachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field preferredExperience in a similar role or internship is advantageous, but not mandatory
