The role requires deep expertise in garment development, client coordination, and end-to-end product execution across women’s and kidswear categories.Key Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion/Apparel Design, Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, or a related discipline. - 14–15 years of hands-on experience in garment product development, with a focus on women’s and kidswear. - Proven experience working with UK and European brands and buyers; prior international market exposure is essential. - Strong ability to create fashion sketches and technical flat drawings. - In-depth knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, fit, trims, wash techniques, and finishing standards. - Demonstrated experience in direct client handling, including virtual meetings, presentations, and ongoing follow-ups with international buyers. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders. - Solid understanding of global fashion trends, seasonal calendars, and costing frameworks. - Proficiency in PLM systems, MS Excel, Adobe Illustrator, and other relevant product development tools. - Experience working with both manufacturing units and liaison/buying offices serving international markets. - This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can balance creative sensibility with strong execution and client management in a fast-paced, export-focused environment.
