Electrical Draftsman (Panel / Substation Projects)Location: Gurgaon (Gurugram)Experience: 3–4 Years+Employment Type: Full-time | On-siteWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Draftsman with 3–4 years+ hands-on experience in electrical panel and substation-related drafting work. The role requires strong command over electrical CAD tools and the ability to work independently under engineer guidance.Key Responsibilities- Prepare Control & Relay Panel drawings, including: - General Arrangement (GA) - Internal arrangement views - Schematic drawings - Develop and maintain: - Blocks, attributes, stencils, symbols, and catalogues - Panel cut-out drawings - Wiring reports and cable schedules - Work using E-Base, AutoCAD, Electrical AutoCAD, Elecdes - Accurately incorporate engineer mark-ups and also proactively identify improvements - Coordinate with engineers, design teams, and site teams for clarifications - Maintain drawing standards, revisions, and documentation controlEngineering Tools & Software- E-Base - AutoCAD - Electrical AutoCAD - Elecdes - EPLAN (added advantage) - Revit (Electrical) (added advantage – BIM / MEP exposure)Hands-on ability to prepare and manage:- Blocks - Attributes - Stencils - Libraries & cataloguesRequired Skills & Qualifications- Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or Draftsmanship - 3–4 years or more relevant experience in electrical drafting - Strong understanding of: - Control & relay panel layouts - Electrical schematics - Wiring philosophy and cable reporting - Ability to work independently under engineer guidance, not limited to copy-paste drafting - Basic schematic design knowledge preferred - Desirable level of verbal & written English communication for effective coordinationPreferred Experience (Good to Have)- Substation, protection & control, or panel manufacturing projects - EPC / system integrator / utility project exposure - Familiarity with client / consultant drawing standards
