Principal Salesforce Developer

We are looking for an experienced Principal Salesforce Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge Salesforce solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in Salesforce, a thorough understanding of its capabilities, and a proven ability to lead complex development initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and leadership skills to drive the success of Salesforce projects across the organization.Key Responsibilities:Lead and guide the development team in delivering enterprise-level Salesforce solutions while being hands-on developerAnalyze application and system issues, providing recommendations and solutions independentlyCollaborate with teams to implement an agile development methodologyOffer detailed application and code insights to development, testing, and business teamsEngage with clients to understand requirements, debug issues, and discuss complex technical topicsTroubleshoot application issues within intricate codebases across diverse customer environmentsConduct code and Salesforce org reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practicesPartner with internal and client teams to facilitate strategic planning, roadmapping, and prioritization discussionsLead challenging client conversations, collaborating with Delivery Leadership as necessaryScope and support custom project deliverables during pre-sales engagementsMentor and coach junior team members, enabling them across technical areasAdvocate for delivery methodology improvements and drive their implementation with leadershipDevelop or identify reusable assets, such as business process templates, industry blueprints, and platform best practices, to enhance future project efficiencyQualifications:Over 8 years of experience in Salesforce development with a focus on codingProficient in APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScriptExpertise in declarative automation, system customization, and working with AppExchange packagesStrong knowledge of integration patterns and techniques on the Salesforce platformFamiliarity with web development technologies such as HTML, JavaScript/jQuery, and CSSExperience in applying architecture design concepts and object-oriented principles in projectSkilled in refactoring and modernizing legacy configurations and codeCompetence in implementing and working with DevOps solutionsMinimum of two Salesforce developer-focused certificationsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesPlative Inc. is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
