Graviton is a privately funded quantitative trading firm striving for excellence in financial markets’ research. We are looking for an IT Hardware Manager to own and scale our end-to-end hardware infrastructure in Gurgaon. This role will be critical in ensuring high availability, performance, and security of IT hardware across offices and shared spaces, while driving cost efficiency and operational excellence.Responsibilities- Own procurement, sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of IT hardware and related equipment - Build and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery - Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of hardware infrastructure, including troubleshooting and maintenance - Manage IT infrastructure in common areas such as boardrooms, meeting rooms, kitchens, AV setups, and smart devices - Lead and develop the IT hardware maintenance and support team - Plan and manage budgets for hardware acquisition, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance - Implement endpoint security, antivirus solutions, and ensure compliance with licensing and security policies - Define and manage hardware lifecycle processes from acquisition to deployment, maintenance, and disposal - Drive continuous improvement in hardware availability, performance, and support SLAsQualificationsThe ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience with:- IT hardware procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation - End-user computing devices (desktops, laptops, peripherals) and office IT infrastructure - AV systems, conferencing tools, and smart office devices - Hardware lifecycle management and asset tracking - Endpoint security, antivirus solutions, and compliance standards - Budget planning and cost optimization for IT infrastructure - Leading and mentoring on-ground IT support or hardware teams - Troubleshooting hardware, firmware, and basic network-related issuesExperience with the following is a plus:- Data center hardware handling and coordination - Basic networking and systems administration knowledge - ITSM tools and structured support processesBenefitsOur open and casual work culture gives you the space to innovate and deliver.
