Lead Data Scientist

Role DescriptionAs a Technical Lead – Data Science & Generative AI (Python/LLMs) at Incedo, you will drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI solutions. You will collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, production-ready AI/ML applications.Your expertise in Python, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy will be critical, along with hands-on experience in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI frameworks. In addition to building high-quality solutions, you will mentor junior team members, enforce best practices, and shape the technical roadmap for AI initiatives.Roles & Responsibilities- Build, train, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models using TensorFlow (or PyTorch) and Scikit-learn. - Develop GenAI/LLM applications including conversational agents, summarization, RAG pipelines, and document intelligence. - Perform data preprocessing, wrangling, and feature engineering with Pandas and NumPy. - Partner with data engineering teams to design scalable data and model pipelines for training and inference. - Lead model evaluation, optimization, monitoring, and governance to ensure robustness, fairness, and scalability. - Provide technical mentorship to the data science team and promote coding excellence and reproducibility. - Present analytical findings and AI strategies to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.Skills & CompetenciesMust-Have Technical Skills- Expert in Python programming (advanced OOP, data structures, API design, testing). - Proficiency with TensorFlow and Scikit-learn for ML/DL model development. - Strong experience in data manipulation and analysis using Pandas and NumPy. - Practical exposure to LLMs and GenAI frameworks - (Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, LlamaIndex). - Solid foundation in statistical and ML methods: regression, time-series, hypothesis testing, anomaly detection.Soft Skills- Excellent communication to bridge technical and business teams. - Proven leadership and mentoring experience. - Adaptive mindset with openness to new AI/ML advancements.Strong ability to balance innovation with timely execution.Regards,Manvendra Singhmanvendra.singh1@
