The Career Counselor will support students in career exploration, university applications, profile building, and future readiness while fostering confidence, self-awareness, and global citizenship.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide individual and group career counseling sessions for students across grade levels.Guide students regarding subject selections, university pathways, career exploration, and higher education opportunities.Support students with profile building, college essays, resumes, recommendation processes, and interview preparation.Assist with applications to universities in India and abroad, including platforms such as Common App and UCAS.Organize university fairs, career guidance workshops, parent sessions, and guest speaker engagements.Maintain updated knowledge of global admission trends, scholarships, and emerging career pathways.Build and maintain relationships with university representatives and external stakeholders.Collaborate with school leadership, coordinators, and teachers to ensure holistic student guidance and wellbeing.Maintain accurate counseling records, application data, and student progress documentation.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field.Certification or training in career counseling/university guidance preferred.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in career counseling, preferably within an IB or international school environment.Strong understanding of Indian and international university admissions processes.Proven track record of successful student placements and guidance outcomes.Essential Skills & AttributesExcellent interpersonal, counseling, and communication skills.Strong presentation and relationship-building abilities.Empathy, discretion, and a student-first approach.High level of organization and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural school environment.Reflective, proactive, and aligned with the philosophy and values of international education.How to ApplyInterested candidates may submit their cover letter, resume/CV, and contact details of three professional references to .
