Job Title: Bar ManagerLocation: GurgaonCompany: The QuorumReports to: F&B ManagerPosition OverviewThe Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing daily bar operations, leading the bar team, managing liquor inventory, and ensuring high standards of service and compliance. This role includes planning beverage promotions, coordinating with partner brands, and supporting service across all F&B outlets as needed. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and passionate about hospitality and mixology.Key Responsibilities1. People Management- Lead, train, and supervise the bar team to deliver consistent service excellence. - Conduct skill-based training sessions to elevate product knowledge and service behaviour. - Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and support development plans. - Foster collaboration across service and culinary teams to ensure smooth operations. - Communicate with clarity, professionalism, and warmth.2. Operational Excellence- Execute and monitor daily bar operations, ensuring SOPs are followed. - Maintain hygiene and safety standards per FSSAI guidelines. - Manage liquor inventory and stock levels, ensuring accuracy in reporting. - Keep detailed records of beverage sales, costs, wastage, and consumption. - Coordinate with beverage partners for activations, events, and promotions. - Maintain updated documentation for vendor sponsorships and event-related sales.3. Revenue & Cost Management- Analyse beverage sales reports and consumption trends to optimize menus and pricing. - Drive promotional strategies to increase bar revenue. - Monitor operational costs, including labour and inventory, to maintain profitability. - Ensure compliance with all excise laws and local bar regulations.Skills & Qualifications- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field. - 5–7 years of relevant experience in bar/ beverage operations, preferably in premium hospitality. - Strong product knowledge across spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Prior experience working with beverage brand partners. - Knowledge of hygiene and safety protocols. - Flexibility to work late shifts, weekends, and event nights.
