Platform Engineer – Medical AI / MLOps | Cloud (AWS/GCP)Location: Remote / India (US collaboration)Experience: 3–7 YearsIndustry: U.S. HealthTech | Medical AIEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are hiring a Platform Engineer (Medical AI / MLOps) to build and scale cloud infrastructure powering AI-driven medical imaging systems used in clinical environments. This role sits at the intersection of cloud platforms, MLOps, Kubernetes, and regulated healthcare systems, supporting both model training and real-time inference.This is not a generic DevOps role—we are looking for someone who has worked close to ML systems in production, ideally in healthcare or other regulated domains.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain medical imaging data pipelines (e.g., DICOM ingestion, validation, de-identification/PHI handling)Build and operate cloud-based model serving platforms for secure, scalable AI inferenceDeploy and manage Kubernetes-based microservices for ingestion, preprocessing, inference, and post-processingImplement MLOps workflows including model versioning, deployment, monitoring, and retrainingBuild regulated CI/CD pipelines with approvals, audit trails, and environment promotion (dev → staging → prod)Ensure security, reliability, performance, and cost optimization across the platformCollaborate closely with ML engineers, clinical, and regulatory teams to productionize research into clinical toolsRequired Skills & Experience3+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, MLOps, or ML-focused DevOpsStrong hands-on experience with AWS or GCPProficiency in Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with MLOps tools such as MLflow, SageMaker, or Vertex AIUnderstanding of security best practices and working in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.)Experience with medical imaging, healthcare data, or DICOM pipelines is a strong plusExposure to Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) or clinical-grade systems is a bonusEducation:Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related fieldIIT alumni preferred
