Role Overview Axslogic is seeking an experienced and skilledPlatform Engineering Managerto join our team and drive the automation, scalability, and security of our cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to build and maintain a robust cloud platform that supports our patented SaaS / Managed SaaS products providing Early Warning and Predictive Analytic capabilities to financial institutions. This role requires strong expertise inDevOps practices , deephands-on experience with AWS , and a thorough understanding ofIT security as it applies to DevOps and cloud infrastructure . Key Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support agile development practices Administer, monitor, and optimize AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, EKS, etc.) Ensure platform deployment in secure Tier III or above Data Centers that offer very high level of uptime (99.982%) with multiple telecom peers, 100% redundant capacity and compliance to ISO 27001:2013 standards Implement and manage disaster recovery strategies and facilities Automate infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation Monitor systems performance, ensure high availability, and troubleshoot issues Security & Compliance Define and enforce security best practices across development and deployment environments Implement data encryption mechanisms using asymmetric-symmetric key systems specific to each client Manage secure SFTP/FTPS servers and ETL processes that handle sensitive financial data Set up and maintain LDAP/Active Directory based authentication systems Conduct risk assessments and recommend enhancements to improve overall DevOps security posture Support compliance with ISO 27001:2013 standards Team Leadership & Collaboration Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and DevOps specialists Collaborate with developers, QA, and security teams to ensure safe and secure deployments Work with product teams to understand application requirements and design infrastructure solutions Partner with data science teams to create infrastructure that supports analytics capabilities Stay current with AWS updates and security trends to proactively enhance systems Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles Strong expertise inAWS cloud infrastructure management Hands-on experience withCI/CD toolssuch as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or similar Proficiency inInfrastructure as Code (IaC)tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi Solid understanding ofIT security principles , especially in DevOps environments (e.g., IAM, secrets management, network security, vulnerability management) Experience withcontainerization and orchestration(Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS) Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar Familiarity with log aggregation, monitoring, and alerting tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog) Experience with handling sensitive financial data and knowledge of related compliance requirements Experience with job control platforms like Airflow Proven track record of leading technical teams and managing complex infrastructure projects Preferred Qualifications: AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect) Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA) Background in scripting development in Bash and Python Experience with GitOps practices Knowledge of IBM and Oracle platforms that support analytics solutions Understanding of financial services domain, particularly lending analytics Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures Engineering Graduate from a top-tier college Why Join Us?
