This role requires deep expertise in real-world data (RWD) analytics, retrospective database studies, and advanced statistical methodologies, with a strong track record of delivering impactful insights to support clinical, medical, and commercial decision-making in global healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will bring experience in RWE, demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities, and deliver complex analytics projects with autonomy and precision.Potential responsibilities include (but not limited to):- Conduct comprehensive health data analysis across patient charts, claims databases, and electronic hospital records (EHR) to support real-world evidence (RWE) and research and development (R&D) initiatives - Develop and apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to generate actionable insights - Contribute to retrospective database analyses to support evidence generation for medical affairs, market access, and clinical development - Draft and review technical reports, abstracts, manuscripts, protocols, SAP (statistics analysis plan) and presentations based on RWE findings - Collaborate cross-functionally to define research questions, study designs, and analytical approaches - Present complex analytical findings to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner - Contribute to thought leadership through publications, conference presentations, and internal knowledge sharing - Ensure rigorous project management across timelines, budgets, and quality standards - Ability to deliver on projects involving new technologies like Causal Inference, Digital Twins, using Generative AI etc.Required Skills and Capabilities- 3–8 years of global experience in RWE analytics, healthcare data science, or related fields within life sciences or consulting - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt analytical strategies to evolving business needs - Deep understanding of therapeutic areas and disease treatment pathways - Proven ability to lead projects independently and engage key stakeholders effectively - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in inferential statistics, predictive modeling, and machine learning (preferred) - Technical expertise in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools; familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, and WordOrganizational Behaviors- Requires high level of interactive communication and challenges to conceptual thinking as necessary - Ability to influence others at a senior level across the business in order gain commitment to strategy - Proven teamwork and collaboration skills - Well-developed cultural sensitivity - Effectively represents the company externally to key stakeholdersEducational background- Bachelor’s degree in clinical or biological sciences, engineering, Stats or Operations Research - Master’s degree in outcomes research, health economics, econometrics or related fields (Preferred)Life @ AxtriaWe Axtrians, are a passionate bunch who thrive in a culture of collaboration and learning.
