In this strategic leadership role, you will play a pivotal part in driving digital transformation for industrial clients by designing and implementing scalable technology architectures.This role focuses on creating cloud-native and hybrid solutions, integrating industrial IoT (IIoT), edge computing, and automation technologies to enable smart factories, connected operations, and data-driven supply chains.You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineers, data scientists, and IT/OT teams to define enterprise-wide technology strategies and deliver innovative digital platforms that support long-term transformation goals.Minimum Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates must have: 14+ years of professional experience in the technology and digital consulting industry 5+ years of experience specifically in enterprise architecture roles, designing end-to-end solutions Proven experience architecting and delivering solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) Deep understanding of Industrial IoT, smart manufacturing platforms, and connected systems Experience in leading feasibility studies, platform assessments, and vendor evaluations for digital initiatives. Core Competencies The ideal candidate will bring technical and strategic expertise in the following areas:Cloud Architecture & Platforms Strong expertise in designing, building, and managing solutions on Azure and AWS (GCP a bonus) Ability to develop cloud-native, hybrid, and multi-cloud architectures that meet security, performance, and scalability requirements Microservices & Containerization In-depth knowledge of microservices-based architecture for modular and scalable applications Proficiency in container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for managing workloads Industrial IoT & Edge Computing Experience with Industrial IoT platforms, sensors, data ingestion, and real-time processing Familiarity with Edge computing to handle low-latency and decentralized processing for factory floor use cases API Management & Integration Design and implement secure APIs, manage lifecycle, and integrate with various enterprise systems (ERP, MES, SCADA, etc.) Utilize API gateways, data buses, and integration patterns to ensure robust connectivity Enterprise Architecture Frameworks Knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar for standardizing architecture practices Ability to align business goals with IT strategy, identify capability gaps, and propose digital roadmaps DevOps & Agile Delivery Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code practices Comfortable working in agile environments, using tools like Jira, Git, Jenkins, etc Education and Knowledge A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field is mandatory An MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree from Tier 1 and 2 institutes is preferred, especially for candidates looking to grow into enterprise-wide strategic roles Industry knowledge in manufacturing, energy, automotive, or supply chain transformation is a significant plus Strong understanding of digital twin technologies, cyber-physical systems, and data platforms Good to Have Skills These additional skills will give candidates an edge: Edge Computing Platforms: Experience with solutions such as Azure IoT Edge, AWS Greengrass, or equivalent Real-Time Analytics & AI Integration: Exposure to AI/ML applications for predictive maintenance, quality control, etc. Cybersecurity for OT/IIoT: Understanding of securing industrial environments (ISA/IEC 62443, NIST frameworks) Familiarity with legacy industrial systems like SCADA, PLCs, and MES Certifications in cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) or architecture frameworks (TOGAF)
