We are excited to announce an opportunity for the position of Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment designer for the Leading Interior design and fit-out industry.Kindly find the necessary details below:Role: Product Designer (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment)Employment Type: PermanentLocation: GurgaonKey Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the FF&E products - design process - from concept ideation to procurement and on-site installation. - Develop mood boards, material palettes, and presentation boards that reflect design intent and brand identity. - Coordinate with Metal & Wood teams to ensure product production retaining design at the SKV Manufacturing Unit. - Source, specify, and coordinate all furniture, fabrics, finishes, lighting, artwork, and decorative accessories. - Collaborate with design and fit-out teams to ensure products are in coordination and technically compatible with FF&E elements. - Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers for best pricing and lead times. - Review and approve shop drawings, prototypes, and material submittals to maintain design integrity of the products. - Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, finish, and installation accuracy. - Manage value engineering exercises without compromising design aesthetics. - Provide leadership and mentorship to junior designers and assist with team development.Qualifications & Experience- Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Product Design, Architecture, or related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates from NID, SPA Delhi or similar prestige schools. - 6+ years of experience in product design with specialization in furniture. If experience in furniture design in workspace/commercial sector, would be given preference. - Strong portfolio showcasing completed FF&E projects in office fit-outs, workspace, institutional or commercial interiors. - In-depth understanding of materials, finishes, joinery, and custom furniture production. - Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.For more prompt reverts, apply with CV and portfolio at jobs@
