Accountant I

Job Responsibilities- Ensure timely and accurate entry of Accounts Receivable invoices into the respective accounting software and support the AR process for collections. - Handle Cash, Imprest, Bank, and Credit Card related entries; perform monthly reconciliations of all cash, imprest, bank, credit card balances, and vendor accounts. - Maintain an organized Accounting Database in both soft copy and hard copy formats. - Assist in preparing GST and TDS return data on a monthly or quarterly basis, as applicable. - Ensure timely and accurate month-end activities, including journals, work papers, and reconciliations. - Prepare Cash, Bank, and Imprest MIS reports on a weekly/monthly basis. - Provide support during Internal and External Audits. - Collaborate with various departments to provide inter-departmental support for accounting-related queries. - Assist with processing payments, cash disbursements, and reconciling bank/investment accounts. - Conduct collection follow-ups to ensure timely receipt of payments.Required Skills- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). - Good communication skills—both verbal and written. - Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. - Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail. - Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. - Experience with accounting software (added advantage).QualificationsExperience: 0–1 year in the relevant field.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.ABOUT RTDSFounded in 2010, Real Time Data Services (RTDS) is a group of companies excelling in global information technology, specializing in Cloud Computing.
