Workday Techno-Functional Consultant (Part-Time)

Workday Techno-Functional Consultant Role OverviewWe are looking for a Techno-Functional Workday Consultant (60–70% Functional / 30–40% Technical) who can primarily support day-to-day functional operations while also handling basic technical tasks such as EIB loads and minor configurations.Technologies You’ll UseWorkday Core HCM, Time Tracking & Absence, BenefitsWorkday Reporting (Custom Reports, Data Extracts)Workday EIBsJira SoftwareGoogle WorkspaceWhat You’ll DoProvide Tier 1 support primarily across Core HCM, Time & Absence, and BenefitsTroubleshoot and resolve Workday system issues; escalate when requiredPerform configuration updates (business process changes, data corrections, system maintenance)Execute Workday EIB data loads (prepare, validate, troubleshoot files)Create and maintain basic reports and data extractsSupport daily HR operations (employee updates, transactions, process support)Assist in system testing, enhancements, and release activitiesEnsure data accuracy and integrity across Workday processesPartner with People Team and global stakeholders for operational supportDocument processes, known issues, and resolutionsMandatory Skills & Experience2+ years of hands-on Workday experience (Core HCM required)Strong experience in:Core HCMTime Tracking & AbsenceWorkday EIB data loadsBenefitsExperience supporting Workday business processes and configurationsAbility to troubleshoot issues and support end users effectivelyStrong attention to detail and ability to manage tasks independently in a part-time roleGood communication skills with ability to work with global teamsNice to HaveExposure to Workday integrations (especially Cloud Connect for Benefits)Experience with additional modules (Compensation, Payroll, Talent)Experience in a support/shared services environmentExposure to Workday release cycles or system testingExperience in documentation or knowledge base creationFamiliarity with HR data flows and integrationsAdditional NotesThis is primarily a support-focused role with involvement in minor enhancements and configuration changes (not heavy development).Candidates are not expected to have experience across all Workday modules—focus should be on Core HCM, Time & Absence, EIBs, and Benefits.
