Job Description:

Role Purpose The Quality Control Executive is responsible for ensuring that all Plush products meet defined quality standards at every stage of manufacturing—from raw materials to finished goods—so that customers receive safe, consistent, and premium-quality products.Key Responsibilities 1. Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Inspect and test raw materials, packaging materials, and components as per approved quality standards. Verify vendor quality compliance and report deviations. Maintain records of incoming inspections and approvals/rejections. 2. In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) Monitor quality parameters during manufacturing processes. Conduct regular line checks to ensure adherence to SOPs and quality norms. Identify defects, process deviations, and root causes during production. Coordinate with production teams to implement corrective actions. 3. Final Quality Control (FQC) Perform final inspection of finished goods before dispatch. Ensure product specifications, labeling, packaging, and hygiene standards are met. Approve or reject batches based on quality findings. 4. Documentation & Compliance Maintain QC reports, checklists, inspection logs, and batch records. Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, safety norms, and statutory requirements (where applicable). Support internal and external audits related to quality and manufacturing. 5. Continuous Improvement Assist in identifying recurring quality issues and recommending preventive measures. Support implementation of quality improvement initiatives. Participate in SOP updates and quality training for shop-floor staff. 6. Coordination & Communication Work closely with Production, Warehouse, and Procurement teams on quality-related issues. Communicate quality deviations clearly and promptly to concerned stakeholders.Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of quality control processes in a manufacturing environment Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret SOPs and quality standards Good documentation and reporting skills Basic knowledge of quality tools (checklists, root cause analysis, CAPA) Effective communication and teamwork Qualifications & Experience Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field 1–4 years of experience in Quality Control within a manufacturing setup Experience in FMCG, personal care, lifestyle, or consumer goods manufacturing
