About the RoleTata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. The Tata Group operates in more than 100 countries across six continents, with the mission 'To improve the quality of life of the communities we serve globally, through long term stakeholder value creation based on leadership with Trust.’As a Senior Industrial Engineer specializing in capacity, manufacturing systems, and labor modeling, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and optimization of factory operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient capacity planning, labor utilization, and manufacturing system performance.Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain tactical models for production scheduling, throughput analysis, and equipment utilization. - Support strategic capacity planning for long-term scalability and capital investment decisions. - Collaborate with planning, operations, and equipment engineering to translate demand forecasts into actionable capacity plans. - Analyze labor requirements and productivity metrics to optimize workforce planning. - Develop labor standards and factory labor model for analysis and forecasting. - Utilize time studies and simulation tools to improve labor efficiency. - Assist in the deployment of MES dashboards and reporting tools. - Support digital transformation initiatives including predictive analytics and AI-driven optimization. - Apply SEMI E10 standards to monitor and improve equipment performance.Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering or related field. - 5–8 years of experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing. - Proficiency in data analytics tools (Python, SQL, Tableau, JMP). - Strong understanding of MES, ERP, and smart manufacturing platforms. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
