ABOUT THE JOBDust, heat, awkward cable runs, a crane operator who doesn't want you standing there — these are Tuesday, not problems.We deploy visual AI systems at steel and metals plants across India. We need someone to own the field — installation, calibration, client-side operations, and keeping the system running when things don't go to plan.This is not a desk job. This is not a software role. This is not for someone who needs step-by-step instructionsWHAT YOU WILL DOMount cameras, commission edge servers, run cable — working from a plan and adapting when the plan meets reality. Train shift supervisors on the system. Run daily comparison logs. Be the first person the client calls when something looks wrong — and fix it before it escalates. Write a clear report at the end of every day without being asked.You are the most senior Pando Data presence on site. The client's confidence in the system starts with their confidence in youWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORYou have shipped something real. Not almost deployed — actually running, that real people use, that you debugged under pressure.You have worked in heavy industry. Steel, cement, power, automotive — anything with real physical plant. You know what a PTW is. You are not precious about dust or heat or 6am shift starts.You can talk to a plant floor supervisor and a software engineer in the same day and be credible to both.When something goes wrong on site and there is no one to call, you make a decision, document it, and tell the team.
