The role focuses on custom development, integrations, and technical support across Odoo modules.Experience in project-based environments, particularly Electrical Subcontracting or Construction, will be an added advantage.Key Responsibilities:Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules based on business requirementsDesign and implement custom features, workflows, and reportsIntegrate Odoo with third-party systems (APIs, external platforms)Support data migration, scripting, and database management (PostgreSQL)Collaborate with functional consultants to translate requirements into technical solutionsDebug, troubleshoot, and optimize system performanceManage code deployment, version control, and upgradesProvide technical support during UAT, go-live, and post-implementationEnsure code quality, documentation, and best practicesRequired Technical SkillsStrong experience in Odoo development (Community/Enterprise)Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, and Odoo frameworkExperience with Odoo ORM, QWeb reports, and module developmentHands-on experience with REST APIs and system integrationsKnowledge of Git or version control systemsUnderstanding of Odoo architecture and deploymentDomain Knowledge (Preferred):Exposure to Electrical Subcontracting / Construction workflowsUnderstanding of project costing, BOQ, procurement, and billing cyclesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field4+ years of experience in Odoo technical developmentExperience working in client-facing or on-site roles is a plusKey Competencies:Strong problem-solving and debugging skillsAbility to work independently and in teamsGood communication for coordination with functional teamsAttention to detail and a structured coding approachNice to Have:Odoo CertificationExperience in UAE/GCC projectsKnowledge of Docker, Odoo.sh, or cloud deployments
