This is not a reporting role—it's about designing and enabling cost-efficient systems.Responsibilities:Design and optimize cost-efficient AWS architecturesIdentify and implement savings across EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora, ML workloadsContribute to optimizations via Terraform / AWS CDK and code reviewsImprove database performance (PostgreSQL, query tuning, indexing)Drive serverless vs server-based architecture decisionsOptimize observability costs (CloudWatch, New Relic)Enable teams with cost governance, guardrails, and best practicesRequired Skills:8–10 years in cloud engineering / distributed systemsStrong expertise in AWS ecosystem & architectureHands-on with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / CDK)Experience with database and storage optimizationSolid understanding of event-driven & scalable systemsProven experience in cloud cost optimization initiativesPreferred Skills:FinOps exposureML workload optimizationCost dashboards / internal toolingMulti-cloud or hybrid environments
