Job Title: Construction & Development Finance Manager (Remote | U.S. Projects)Location: Remote (India-based candidates preferred)Working Hours: EST (7:00 PM – 3:00 AM IST) – MandatoryEmployment Type: Full-TimeStart Date: Immediate to short notice preferredOverviewWe are looking for a hands-on Construction & Development Finance Manager to take full ownership of financial operations across active real estate development and construction projects.This is not a traditional accounting role—it sits at the intersection of finance, construction operations, and systems. You will be responsible for bringing structure, visibility, and accountability to project financials while working closely with leadership and managing offshore teams.Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) are essential, as this role involves regular interaction with U.S.-based stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn project-level financials, including budget vs actuals, cost tracking, and variance analysisManage WIP schedules and revenue recognition (percentage-of-completion)Lead the construction loan draw process end-to-endOversee accounts payable (AP) and invoice control with strict timelines and accuracyDrive system integration and data flow between tools (e.g., Procore ↔ Zoho or similar)Track development financials, including costs, capital stack, and project returnsDeliver weekly and monthly financial reports with clear, actionable insightsManage offshore teams and drive accountability, timelines, and output qualityBuild and implement processes, controls, and scalable workflowsKey Requirements7+ years of experience in construction accounting or real estate financeStrong hands-on expertise in job costing, WIP reporting, and construction loan drawsExperience with Procore (or similar project management tools) and accounting systems (Zoho, QuickBooks, etc.)Proven ability to work in fast-paced, unstructured environmentsStrong leadership skills with experience managing remote/offshore teamsExcellent English communication skills (mandatory for U.S. stakeholder interaction)High ownership mindset with a focus on execution and problem-solvingNice to HaveExperience working with U.S.-based real estate or construction companiesKnowledge of ASC 606 / percentage-of-completion accountingExposure to capital stacks, IRR, and project-level returnsExperience with Power BI or advanced Excel modelingWhat Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)Structured and reliable project cost tracking system in placeAccurate and consistent WIP reporting establishedAP backlog cleared and workflows streamlinedSeamless system integration (Procore–Zoho or equivalent)Consistent and insightful reporting cadence with leadershipWhy This RoleHigh ownership with direct exposure to business-critical financial decisionsOpportunity to build systems and processes from the ground upWork closely with leadership in a fast-scaling real estate platformFully remote role with potential occasional U.S. travel
