Job Summary DPS Gaya seeks a full-time Social Studies Teacher responsible for developing course objectives, preparing lesson plans, tracking student progress, and engaging with parents. Candidates should possess relevant experience, be aware of current events, have strong teaching skills, a solid academic background, and a supportive approach to students.  Responsibilities and Duties Gathering learning materials, resources, and preparing lesson plans  Setting and achieving curriculum objectives  Analysing and helping students work on their strengths and weaknesses  Reviewing and evaluating students' progress  Attending parents-teacher meetings and discussing the student's growth  Establishing a positive classroom learning environment  Ensuring that the students have the appropriate learning aids and textbooks  Organising and accompanying students on field trips  Attending staff meetings and participating in various training programs Helping students prepare for debates or any other extracurricular activities  Maintaining an accurate record of students' grades  Assigning students projects and other internal assessment activities  Keeping up-to-date with the current events and happenings  Qualifications and Skills Master's or Bachelor's Degree in History, Geography, or a related field  B.Ed  2 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school ( Preferred) Excellent teaching and academic skills  Good written and verbal communication skills  Benefits: Salary as per DPSS Provident Fund Causal Leaves Bachelor's Accommodation Job Type: Full-time Experience: Work: 2 years (Preferred) in a CBSE-affiliated School
