Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Bioinformatician based in Gaya. The Bioinformatician will work closely with the research team to analyze biological data, particularly focusing on sequencing and interpreting DNA sequencing results. Daily tasks include conducting data analyses, developing bioinformatics workflows, applying statistical methods to biological datasets, and collaborating on research projects aimed at drug development using ribozyme molecules. The role emphasizes precision, innovative problem-solving, and effective communication with the broader scientific team. Qualifications Proficiency in DNA Sequencing and Sequencing techniquesStrong understanding of Statistics and Data Analysis methodsExperience in conducting and contributing to Research initiativesExcellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively in a laboratory environmentBachelor's or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related fieldFamiliarity with bioinformatics tools, programming languages such as Python or R, and relevant databases is a plus
