Our mission is /"Excellence, Innovation, and Nation Building./"About the RoleThe Associate Dean of Management will be the visionary leader of UIM, responsible for overseeing the MBA, BBA, and PhD programs, ensuring they align with Karnavati University’s mission.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Branding Develop and execute a 5-year strategic roadmap to position UIM among the top 50 business schools in India (NIRF).Build a distinct brand identity for UIM that emphasizes the university’s multidisciplinary approach (blending management with design, law, and technology).Represent the university at national and international forums to enhance institutional prestige.Academic Excellence & Innovation Oversee the design and periodic revision of the curriculum to ensure it is industry-aligned and future-ready (AI, Sustainability, Business Analytics).Implement innovative pedagogical tools (case-study methods, simulations, and experiential learning).Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies (UGC, AICTE) and lead the school through national and international accreditations (NAAC, NIRF, NBA, AACSB).Industry-Academia Linkages & Placements Strategically lead the Corporate Relations team to ensure 100% high-quality placements and internships.Establish Centers of Excellence (CoE) in partnership with industry leaders.Foster an ecosystem for entrepreneurship and incubation, supporting student-led startups.Faculty & Research Management Recruit, mentor, and retain world-class faculty with strong academic and industry credentials.Drive a /"Research-First/" culture, encouraging high-impact publications in Scopus/ABDC indexed journals.Facilitate faculty development programs (FDPs) and consultancy assignments.Student Success & Global Alliances Oversee the student lifecycle from admission to alumni engagement.Expand international footprints through MoUs for student/faculty exchange and joint research with global universities.Maintain a vibrant campus culture through management fests, conclaves, and student clubs QualificationsEducation: Ph.D. in Management or a related field from a premier institute (IIM, IIT, or a top-tier international university).Experience: Minimum of 15–20 years in academia/industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Dean, Director, or Associate Dean). Proven track record in leading a business school through successful accreditation cycles. Required SkillsStrong /"Industry Connect/" with a network of C-suite executives.Visionary mindset with the ability to manage a multidisciplinary faculty.Excellent communication and public speaking skills. Preferred SkillsExperience in international collaborations and partnerships.Proficiency in data-driven decision-making. Pay range and compensation packageCompensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
