For more about Group Bayport, please visit: Website: LinkedIn: Job Job Summary: The Manager- International Operations is responsible for coordinating remotely multiple plants in US and other locations for timely manufacturing as per defined quality standards and efficiency norms, Also responsible for ensuring COGS and Plant cost as per targets. Key Performance area: · Capacity and Budget planning · Adherence to production plan · Operational efficiency – Machine and Capacity Utilization · Manpower and Resource planning · Waste optimization · Inventory Management · Coordination for Material planning and Procurement planning · Process improvement- 5S, Kaizen, QMS Preference : - · Valid US B1/B2 Visa · Experience of handling operations remotely. Duties/Responsibilities: · Organize all production and support operations to ensure that output and quality targets are achieved, and that all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards are observed · Design and implement systems and processes to bring out higher machine efficiencies, quality improvements and reduction in wastage on a continuous basis. · Responsible for planning strategies for expansion of unit operations, capacity utilization, controlling costs through scrap reduction and enhancing unit production capacities. · Plan manpower deployment along with HR team to achieve the production and maintenance targets · Responsible for achievement of production targets as per the defined budgets · Provide direction to the production team for effective operation and achievement of production targets · Conduct regular detailed reviews with each department to understand and address any constraints or concerns or bottlenecks and ensure timely implementation. · Accurate Inventory management · Manage the overall attrition levels in the Plant and ensure key talent is effectively retained with the support of HR · Conduct effective performance appraisals for the team and identify training needs Required Skills/Abilities: · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Thorough understanding of production processes · Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or ERP systems Education and Experience: · Bachelor’s degree in engineering · At least 12 to 16 years of experience in the industry or acting as a production lead role required.
